Terms of Service

Welcome to SafeBox. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SafeBox ("we", "us") covering your use of the SafeBox mobile app and the safeboxshare.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

SafeBox lets you transfer files directly between devices over your local Wi-Fi and stream video content from our catalog. We may add, change or remove features at any time as the Service evolves.

Your account

  • You can use file transfer without an account. Some features (profiles, likes, comments, Premium, syncing) require one.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • One active session per account: signing in on a new device signs you out elsewhere.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

    • Acceptable use

    You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal, or transfer files you do not have the right to share.
  • Upload, post or share content that is infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable in comments or your profile.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, probe or attack our systems, or access them by any means other than the app and website.
  • Copy, redistribute, record, download or resell videos from the catalog, or circumvent free-play limits, ads or Premium checks.

    • You are solely responsible for the files you send or receive with SafeBox.

    Your content

    You keep ownership of what you post (comments, profile details). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display that content within the Service so the features work. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

    Video catalog

    Videos in the Service are provided for personal, non-commercial streaming only. Availability may change at any time. If you believe any content infringes your rights, email getsafeboxapp@gmail.com and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.

    Premium and payments

  • Premium can be purchased through Google Play Billing or, where offered, by UPI.
  • Google Play purchases are processed by Google under Google Play's terms and refund policies.
  • UPI payments are one-time payments applied to your account after confirmation. We never receive your bank credentials.
  • Prices may change; changes never apply retroactively to time you have already paid for.
  • Premium is tied to your account and, like the rest of the Service, is limited to one active session at a time.
  • Refunds are handled according to the applicable store policy and the law of your place of residence.

    • Ads and free plays

    The free tier is supported by advertising, including optional rewarded ads that unlock extra plays. Attempting to defraud or manipulate the ad or free-play system may result in limits or suspension.

    Trademarks

    Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC. SafeBox is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

    Disclaimers

    The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or error-free operation. File transfers happen over your local network between your own devices; you are responsible for what you transfer and for keeping backups of your data.

    Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeBox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

    Suspension and termination

    We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (including accounts) for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how).

    Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use of the Service means you accept it.

    Governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
